Our Anniversary In October 2009!

Our wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's been two years already! I love you so very much Randy!

On our actual anniversary, Randy had a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses delivered to our home. I was so surprised and absolutely thrilled! This picture wasn't actually taken at the time they were first delivered

I can't get enough of your kisses Randy! Muah!

I love this chair.....it brings a couple so close together

A closer look.....a rose couldn't be more perfect and beautiful

We had an amazing anniversary. Thank you Randy!

The weekend before our anniversary we celebrated by going to Vegas for a couple days. What a blast that was. We got to our hotel room Thursday night then Friday we we're able to go to the temple, do some shopping and Randy took me out to dinner. Then we ended the day with a good chick flick. Saturday we went to costco for a bit then spent most of the day hiking. What a hike that was. I will never forget that day.

The weather was beautiful and the scenery was gorgeous!
But as you can see, this was no hiking trail...this was a flood zone. We were trying to find this waterfall that Randy had hiked to years ago and said it was beautiful. But since then there had been some serious flooding. The first part of the hike was all boulders and the second part was all logs. It was very exhausting trying to stay balanced on the boulders and logs. We had so much fun though just being together alone in the mountains.
We stopped a couple times to break. That log was put there just for us =)Randy found the perfect walking stick that seemed to help him a lot. By the end of the hike we were pretty tired and ready to relax. On drive to the hiking trail we took a wrong turn and we had to drive about 45 minutes out of the way to find our way to the trail. Our car was low on gas but we thought we'd make it. After our extra 45 minutes of driving the empty light was on. So when we were all done with our hike we went to start the car and....nothing. The car was parked somewhat on a hill so Randy put it in neutral and rolled it down the hill a bit. That leveled out the car enough so we could start it.

We saw Bambi....and on the way to the gas station Bambi wanted to get hit by our car. Randy was adjusting the temperature in the car and when he looked up a deer jumped right out in front of us. My heart jumped out of my chest. Luckily he swerved and we were able to avoid hitting him. Well, we made it to the gas station and safely made it back to our hotel room. What a fun and exciting afternoon that was.
Here is Randy in our hotel room! Randy surprised me and got this beautiful room for the weekend. I had no idea he rented a room this nice for us

It had a small living area with a big screen T.V.

The most comfortable bed in the world...and it was king size
Next to the bedroom was this humongous jacuzzi tub! It was awesome

The bathroom was so pretty

It had a full kitchen too! I got so spoiled for our anniversary. We were able to enjoy our room quite a bit and just have time together. The bedroom had a big screen T.V too so we were able to watch some movies that we brought. We had the most perfect anniversary I could have asked for!

  1. Awww! Reading this post was like WATCHING a chick flick! Go Randy! What an adventure! I couldn't help but smile about how the trail was different than you thought it would be: how appropriate - sounds a lot like marriage [and I don't mean that in a bad way!] Way to navigate it, walking stick and all! Love you guys and happy anniversary [belated and all]!
